Orlando is one of the most popular travel destinations in the USA – along with Disney World, the area has tons to offer. It’s definitely a great weekend destination for food, fun and a bit of Disney whimsy! Maybe the best part is the never ending summer-like weather!
Every time I travel to Orlando, I stay at the Four Seasons. A picturesque luxury hotel that’s still very family friendly, the grounds are just gorgeous and service top-notch. You’re just minutes from the Disney Parks, which take away the hassle of traveling. The hotel also offers great spa services to help you unwind and relax.
Aren’t these chandeliers just amazing?! I love the design details of the hotel!
My favorite – by far – restaurant in Orlando is STK. Located at Disney Springs, this modern steakhouse has amazing cuisine and a posh setting. Of course they are known for their prime steaks and hearty dishes, but have a kid-friendly menu as well, if you are traveling with little ones.
If you’re in the mood for Italian, I recommend Prato Italian in Winter Park. Fresh and authentic cuisine with an awesome bar.
If Southern cuisine is your thing, Highball and Harvest is the place for you. Located in the Ritz Carlton, the fresh farm-to-table fare is always on point.
How could you go wrong with an array this large of dipping sauces?! Delish!!!
The spirit of Disney, and all the magic associated with it, is truly alive in Orlando. Outside of the park, there’s tons of family-friendly shopping at Disney Springs. If you’re looking for a great place to score high-end pieces at lower prices, visit the International Premium Outlet Mall. The outlet also has plenty of fast food restaurants and places to grab a quick bite to eat.
