Sunsets and Saltwater

Cabo Travel post by the Traveling Cheetah

Where sunsets and saltwater meet, Cabo is one of my most favorite places to vacation. Between the picturesque rocky cliffs, amazing cuisine and totally luxurious resort settings, the vibe never gets old!

ACCOMODATIONS

I love the One and Only Palmilla Hotel for it’s unrivaled beach views and awesome accommodations – the service is top-knotch. It’s definitely my go-to hotel in Cabo. It’s truly like a resort setting – you don’t even have to leave the grounds! With a great spa, adult and kid pool, swim up bar and spacious rooms, it’s like a home away from home.

The Pedegral is another great option – the mood is more modern and contemporary, compared to the Palmilla’s classic design.

And finally, can we talk about the Hotel Mar Adentro – the all-white architecture is pretty amazing, and their outdoor bar (a few images down) is like a giant bird’s nest (minus the birds!) – definitely memorable.

Have fun chilling in the beachside cabanas – the shade and balmy breeze keep the mood relaxed! It’s definitely great to unwind with a tropical drink in hand – like a coconut margarita, perhaps?!

The Pedegral Hotel, below, is also a stunning place to stay – the cliffside locale provides stunning views.

Hotel Mar Adentro’s “nest” bar is a must-stop – so unique!

FASHION

When traveling, I always pack comfy pieces that are still classic and chic. I love printed dresses –  in a monochromatic scheme for a classy look, or pop of color to make a statement! Always bring coordinating sunnies – the Mexican sun is no joke! A cute sun hat or matching bag compliment any outfit perfectly.

DINING

If you love fresh farm-to-table cuisine, you MUST try Flora Farms. Everything’s locally sourced, delicious, and handmade. There’s a limited menu each day, reflecting what’s in season.

El Farallon is another one of my favs – built into a cliff, the setting is gorgeous, especially at dusk! They feature locally caught fish – you can choose which catch you’d like, and they cook and serve right then in there. Can’t get any fresher!
