I chased away the winter blues very easily in Park City! It’s truly a winter wonderland, complete with great food and dining, cute boutique shopping, gorgeous hotels and of course, all the wintertime adventure sports someone could ask for!
- The Waldorf Astoria – my favorite out of Park City’s offerings, the Waldorf is both modern and chic, a total update on the usual mountain lodge. It had an amazing spa and was located near the Canyons Village, where you can find great boutique shopping and restaurants/bars. The hotel was both trendy and elegant, everything you’d expect from a 5 star hotel!
- St. Regis Deer Valley – another close favorite,
- Stein Eriksen Lodge – If you’re looking for a true mountain lodge getaway, the Stein Eriksen definitely delivers. With a ski in, ski out location and plenty of woodsy charm, this log cabin hotel is perfect for any nature lover!
The landscape here is simply gorgeous – being surrounded by snow-dusted mountains and evergreen after evergreen is surely peaceful!
If you seek adventure, Park City has a ton of offerings. From skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling to hiking and more, there’s definitely something for everyone. Hit the slopes in the morning and retreat back to the hotel to warm up in the evening!
If you’re looking for some great breakfast and Bloody Marys, the J&G Grille at St. Regis hotel is known for their brunch menu. Relax by sitting by the fire with warm drinks – what way to chase away the chills than with creamy, chocolatey hot cocoa?
A great choice for fine dining in Park City is the Glitretind Restaurant. They have great wine/food pairings and everything is
The Farm Restaurant is located in “The Canyons”, a great little shopping/dining district in Park City. All the food is farm to table style, being sourced from local farms. The go-to spot, however, in The Canyons is the High West Distillery; it’s a saloon-style restaurant which is famous for their whiskey selection. If you are a true whiskey fanatic, I’d definitely make this a must-stop!
It was hard to leave this little snowglobe, but I know I’ll be back!
Until next time, Park City!
